  1. Looks AWESOME!!! Okay, where can I order the magic wand that y'all are using to paint/detail instrument and control panels in the cockpits??!! Dave
  2. Absolutely Beautiful Work!!!!! Where did you get the mask? (or did you make them yourself?) I have a 1/24 G-6 waiting to be dressed up just like this....okay, as close as I can get it to this. Dave Just stunning!!
  3. Looks great! How was the build? I've been wondering about Trumps. 1/24 birds. Cheers, Dave
  4. Really want the Uhu, it's all about $$ for me....no Benjamins here. Just Lincoln, Hamilton, and a Jackson every now and then. And the EA-6B!?! Sweet! along with Mitchell and Marauder?! (Or are these more of a believe it when we see it?) Dave
  5. Thanks D. Was hoping to avoid a F/L conversion kit. Dave
  6. Nice one Kevin, that's funny right there, I don't care who you are, that's funny. Hmmm, Tomcats in Allied hands in the North Africa campaign. Hmmmmmm. No really though, anyone built this Tomcat, and was the 325th only issued the F/L? Cheers, Dave
  7. Oh, and how is the 1987 1/32 Revell Tomcat?
  8. Ahhh, okay, gotchya. Hmmm, I was just looking at that conversion kit on e-bay. Thank you Mr. Metz. Another question...... Did the 325th only use F/Ls or was there any other versions that they used that I can put the checkers on?
  9. Greetings All, I am planing on doing a P-47D R-back, P-51D and a P-40, all in Checkertail colors. After looking through a book I have about the Checkertail Clan, (CC), I see that the P-40s that they used were the F and L. I am having a devil of a time finding one of either in our scale. I do come across a P-40M from time to time. It appears that all 3 are a tad longer than other models. The question I am posing is this: Will an M suffice in place of an F/L? Thank you in advance. Cheers, Dave.
  10. A billion times better than mine WOW! Cheers, Dave
  11. Very Nice....Kudos to you. Have a 'thing' for this one, old school yet noble in a way. Then you take into account that these crippled the Bismarck....yeah, pretty cool. Cheers, Dave
  12. Oohhhh to have the ability to do that. That is awesome. Got a touch misty with the older gents, the one that went through the blitz & the one that actually flew them. Cheers, Dave
  13. HOLY SH!T Sorry, Wife wanted to know where she can get an "Elsie". When I clicked on your name, I saw that your b-day is the same as mine, just 18 years before me.

    Cheers,

    Dave

  14. I like the colors of the Cuban, but I like the Czech too. I mean really, how often do you see nose art like that on a MiG at all? Cheers, Dave
  15. Wish that was in U.S. dollars too, or am I missing something? (The latter more than likely.) That exhaust shur is purdy though.
  16. Kag, Harv, Av8fan, and Kevin, Thank you for all the replies. I see that it is only four, but with 4 replies out of 46 views....gonna look at that as a general consensus. If nothing else, no one stated anything positive about the trump. version. I humbly thank you for saving me a few $$$. Lord knows they are going into the gas tank of the auto. Cheers, Dave
  17. Greetings Y'all, Okay, looking at getting a Eurofighter. Can get a RoG for 60, (buy it now), or maybe a Trump for 73(have to bid). Is Trump worth the extra? I build OOB. Just want a good looking bird. Thank for your assistance. Cheers, Dave
  18. Looks nice....this aircraft is actually growing on me. Has a "scrappy, I'm not pretty but I'm gonna kick your A$$, fighter" look to it. I like it. Cheers, Dave
  19. Looks good so far Jamme. Any new updates? Cheers, Dave

  22. Looks great from here. Braver than I am with the cutaway. Kudos to you! You deserve a tall cold frosty one now. Cheers, Dave
  23. My appologies for the OT here, but Hawkeye, I thought you might be interested in this if you are able to get to Milwaukee on Saturday. (or anyone else in the "area".) http://www.sanc.org/speeve.htm#xtreme The Extreme Raptor Day. A Golden Eagle, Gyr Falcon and a Merlin are scheduled to appear, in addition to what they have on hand there at the center. Should be very interesting. Cheers, Dave
  24. Looks good Frank. I'm wondering though, how come not a Wisconsin ANG bird? Cheers, Dave
