  1. Yeah eduard do have some funny colors to their PE , i find a thin wash of your cockpit color or what ever color your panel is seems to tone it done and blends it in to match . Their rlm 66 is not the best but using the gunze 66 that i use in the rest of the cockpit it does work out . It is a very nice kit and builds into a very nice model ,as one of our local club has just finnished it . Have fun ,cheers Wayne
  2. I am going to watch this with great intrest to see how you tackle a 48th subject John .
  3. I have the first two volumes and i can say that they are very good , the colors and marking info makes sense and if you have either of Ken merricks classic books or the monogram painting guide these will both help you . He the author has done a far bit of tying up what happened in the factory paint shops and repair faclites which is were the painting happened . Gives us the modller some fresh info and color schemes to play with ,whats not to like .Cheers Wayne
  4. I have been using it with IPA with no drama's just treat the same as tamiya or gunze .Works well with tamiya lacquer as well .Its way more usable than the rest of their range . Have fun Wayne
  5. Hell yes this great news , wonder if they will ever reprint vol1 and 2 . It would a cheaper than evil bay prices . I shall be waiting . Cheers Wayne
  6. Yeah i agree this is a great game to play and it is fun but they are stretching it a bit
  7. They are going to want a subject that brings in the coin ,they have done the early MK 1 ' s so if they are on a replace an old kit with a new one method and one modlers will go ape over then its a mk VC all day .Thats if they are in Spitfire mode still , now i now its an eye roller but the 109 g-6 is a candidate simply because the revell kit is not a world beater and not everyone wants full internals like the ZM kit . Also they are not going to do anything to esoteric as they just dont have the bank roll for that type of project so expect something fairly standard . Hving said that i wish they would just cut the WNW secert squirrell release type BS and just get on with it and announce what they are doing . You dont create a buzz keeping people quessing for long periods it tends to get annoying . I bet we will still be playing this game in 6mths still . Have fun Wayne
  8. Well i have it solved , there is a post here on the Eagle editions page here , god knows why i never looked there . Boy am i feeling a bit dumb
  9. Thanks for getting back to me, i to assume its for the hasegawa kit .Wonder if its the cutting edge one reboxed?
  10. Came across this list number but no other info on it , EagleParts:EP-27-32 bf 109 g-10 conversion does anyone know if it;s good or bad? what donnor kit? .I have searched high and low on the internet and cant find anything ,like it wasnt a thing or did it even get made ? . Thanks Wayne
  11. Great job Tolga and you have done a very good job around that spine joint as it is not the easiest thing to do . Lookforward to seeing it finished
  12. That is quite a size difference for a small amount of scale change ,got me wondering about getting one now . Could be a good stepping stone from 48th to 32 so i dont get overwelmed with the size change ,it took me a while to do the same in armour 35th just seemed so big compared to 48th .
  13. My friend got his mrp out of europe here to NZ no drama , i thought to they were working on a version that was more like tamiya or gunze so that might not have the shipping dramas . But nothing has been released yet
  14. It looks very good John , almost near the end ,enjoy the fishing
  15. Yes they are a pain to get down here although some have made it , Sms is very similar and easily available here in NZ its good paint but some of the colors are not even close to what they are supposed to be which is a shame . If they payed a bit more attension to getting getting the colors right we wouldnt need MRP and the postage hassels . Just so no one thinks i'm booting SMS i'm one of those modelers that like the paint to be as close as possable to the real thing and accurate .Then i can deal with scale effects ect to my taste . Hence i spend far to much time stuffing around mixing colors but hey its kind of fun ,Weird i know but thats me .
