Here's a few of the excellent models that were on display at the 1/32 SIG stand, ablely manned by a few of our forum members. It was great to meet and chat with the likes of @Phartycr0c and @Trak-Tor as well.
 

 

 

 

The good news is the positives far outweigh the negatives. It remains the go-to event for me, and it's always a delight to meet with fellow LSPers. You talk to practically anyone there and they're more than happy to chat, share modelling tips, or talk to you enthusiastically about their upcoming releases.

Finally, here's a few dioramas and vignettes of various scales (including the 1/32 Dambusters Lancaster that was so impressive last year).
 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Having come back from Telford yesterday, I've mulled over a few thoughts and general impressions. First of all, the negatives:
 
Traffic and parking remain the usual fun. The new multi-storey car park next to the TIC helps (although it is more expensive than parking on-site) The on-site catering at TIC continues to be expensive and awful. Honestly, a 10 minute walk to the nearest McDonald's offers better value and tastier food... The number of manufacturers attending has declined. Airfix had their usual huge stand, and HKM were there as well, but the likes of previous attendees HPH, Zouke-Mura, DACO, Kotare etc. were notably absent Coupled with this, there didn't seem to be any announcements of new releases (except for the Airfix Me 410) If you go on the Saturday forget about seeing the competition area. It was closed from the start and was still off-limits when I left at about 1500. There must be a better way of doing the judging but still allowing the general public to view the models  
And now the positives!
Visitor numbers seem to be getting back towards the pre-COVID days Entry is now a lot slicker than it used to be by getting people to buy tickets online beforehand, instead of paying on the door Manufacturers might be thin on the ground but it was good to see so many overseas clubs coming back after COVID LSP's are in rude health. I was worried that with the decline of WNW, coupled with the lack of new kits from Tamiya and Hasegawa and the ongoing global economic issues, we might have seen a decline in 1/32. However, there were plenty of LSP's on display and the likes of Aviattic, CSM, Lukgraph, DBMK etc. are all continuing to produce in 1/32 Where have God Hand sprue nippers been all my life?!?!

The Scimitar is also still in development, will probably be released next year. They had a 3D printed mock-up on the stand.
