Timeless beauty. Sadly l'm very little in jets building though l would build one. Top work.😘ðŸ‘ðŸ‘

Well done. I know the hard work on these Azur kits to get good results. ðŸ‘ðŸ‘ðŸ‘

Smooth paintjob - especially the rocket engine is really sexy and an eye-catcher.

You are asking for that T-coupling of the de-icer device? For easier handling l soft-annealing the copper wires and clean them with sanding paper before bending. Here l just glued with cyanacrylate. After l put a coat of Mr.Surfacer to simulate a T-coupling. Later l'll paint that in silver.

Little by little, the bird builds its nest. After completition of the de-icer lines I turned for towards the oxygen-lines ans rebuilt its oxigene-****. The clear bulbs I made I replaced now be three steel ball of 1mm each for a more even look now. The lever for undercarriage is rebuilt except the housing. Some of the self-adhesive Pes are needed to place before airbrushing. Have some masking work there

KH 1/32 Kingfisher available from Sprue Brothers

Just ordered mine. -
The first try to build the replacement bulbs ended up in a blub of the far right buld being bigger in size. Then a 2nd try with steel ball of 1.5mm diameter which were 2 times too big. So I tried for a 3rd time again with transparent parts. The result seems okay and I think with bare eye the size differences are not to see. Then I turned to the air bottles and added some pimping with 0.5mm brass rod and injection needle for the middle section of the bottle connection. The black tape I fixed with two drilled wires I took from a litz wire to simulate two clamps. Piping of the lower bottle bottom according to an internet template. I don't know about the accuracy. The wild running of power supply of the fuse box is correct according to my reference. To be contined………

These Mr.Paints looks like a real optionto the unliked Alclad stuff. Nice work on rhe pit and l like that gunsight. You wrote in my thread you would not go that deep into detailing. I think yiu did not tell the truth as your woek shows.😉

I'm not so in jets but this one is excellent. Stunning paint job and built. Top notch work

Thanks mate😊

Thanks guys.😄 I wondered about my order of these and just found the letter containing in a stack of unopened letters - lazy me.Arentthey nice? Now the engine belongs to family. Though they are bling-bling they will disapear neath a thin layer of black. The R&R-logo will be still readable after that though of the black on black.

What a beauty and splendid paintjob. That's a real and solid 10/10.

1/32 P-38L "Kicked Up A Notch". Jan 15/16: FINISHED!
Urs replied to chuck540z3's topic in Works in Progress
what a smooth surface. Curious for the further progress on that baby-like skin. -
Well, now l'm fed up with wires/lines and things.😅😅 The lines and wire still running wild on the firewall will be connected after the paint job. Today l did the ignition lines on the engine sides and on top of the rocker housing. That prominent part Tamiya missed to model - strange.😴 Now l go further with the cockpit..... The thin copper wire running across the whole engine is not yet connected and will be fixed after afinal asm.
-
Nice paint job so far on basic. Just curious for the next steps in the build progress. Seems desert camo are very liked - l'm doing nearly the same.😂
-
Fantastic paintjob of your OV-10. It's really a show winner :punk:BUT your beauty worth better photographing skills. Put in on a neutral background with better illuminating.
-
Just finished the coolant line on the opposit side. Now l'll go for some wiring of the firewall and the ignition wires of the engine.
-
To be honest l feared the new bigger tube would not fit. This time l use a 1.5mm brass tube to replace the kit part to be seen in the foreground. Short after first bent l had to drill 1.0mm to sold in a coolant filling hose. Plug will be added later.
