How very sad, she was always a positive force here. I hope whatever she is dealing with right now gets resolved in a positive manner. Ernest

Master class quality build! Ernest -
Very impressive build, and an interesting choice for both the color scheme and markings! I like how you painted the base as well. Ernest

That painting technique looks pretty cool Jeroen! Ernest

Absolutely superb work on that engine Lukasz! The engine bearers look great as well. You are really taking this build to the next level. Duży szacunek! Ernest -

WoW! Those nozzles look the biz Pete! Believe it or not I have built exactly one jet to date. Following your build and a couple of others is motivating me to try another in the next 12-18 months. Ernest

Very nice work on the cockpit John. I hear you about bench lighting making taking good photos a challenge; I struggle with that on all pictures I take at my bench. I also use HGW seatbelts on nearly all my builds. Every set I have used has the paper backing that you describe, unless I am misunderstanding what you are saying which is quite possible. I always crumple the seatbelt material into a little ball and roll it between my fingers after removing the backing to make them more supple; I find that helps a lot. Ernest -
Thank you for the kind words Max, you are very generous. I really enjoyed making the base with my daughter, and to be honest most of the praise for how the base turned out should go to her. I only had to briefly show her how to add the snow mix to the tree and the ground and she went to work. And she did a fantastic job, especially considering she is only 8 years old. I only made a few adjustments and added a couple of effects like the tire marks and the trampled areas. As satisfied as I am with the SE5a and figures, the base will always be my favorite part of this build. Ernest

Very excellent craftsmanship Mike. I always learn a lot following you builds and reading through your website. I will be building the 1/32 Meng Fokker Triplane pretty soon. I often build aircraft flown by either little known or unknown pilots, but this time I will be building von Richthofen's all red triplane using the aviattic decals. That should be a challenge, and hopefully I will be up for it. Ernest
