  1. Awesome news! I'm far more likely to get one now.
  2. Site says Feb next year at an RRP of 35,000 Won, about 31 USD or 27 Euro. Not bad at all!
  3. I read somewhere that some PE parts for the floats are missing from the kit, any truth to that?
  4. I'm becoming more of an OOB builder as well. Maybe a minimal amount of etch or some fabric seat belts... Spending time researching/fixing inaccuracies and dealing with fiddly AM parts has more than once been a mojo killer for me... As for this one, I'll gladly build it as it is.
  5. The original company was US based I believe but it was sold once or twice
  6. I'd like a Defiant or a Javelin but since they're having financial difficulties they'll probably play it safe and go for something that sells well.
  7. Considering the price it sells for I'm not surprised. I don't mind though, with this amount of simplicity it might be a kit I actually finish.
  8. There was a resin upgrade set with the correct antennas for the two-seater, but I think it's OOP.
  9. A possible alternative could be the 1/24 Trumpeter if you don't mind the larger scale. It's supposedly a bit more hassle-free than the 1/32 offerings out there.
  10. Same here, it's the guns at the front that do it for me.
  11. Lowest I've seen it in Europe is €127 which is about $146. It's odd, usually the Europeans are a lot worse off.
  12. A lot of people in here want the D it seems...
  13. I know, just thought it was funny to imagine it was the box, joke failed I guess.
  14. Great to see a lot of manufacturers are moving into 1/32, esp. since Tamiya seem to have lost interest in that scale. Good times!
  15. I just got a nice deal on both the Conversion and the Hasegawa kit from a fellow member so this topic can be closed (unless someone else wants to find out more) Thanks for the responses!
  16. It should work but what I'm worried about is how much the parts division and engineering is different from the Hasegawa kit and how much extra "hacking and sawing" that would involve. If using the Revell kit means a crap-ton of extra work digging up a Hasegawa kit might be a better idea.
  17. My eyes recently fell on the Planet Models "Känguruh" conversion but it was made for the Hasegawa A-5/A-8 kit. Other than being easier to find, the Revell A-8 is also a bit cheaper so I was wondering how much trouble it would be to use the Revell kit as a basis instead. Anyone tried this?
  18. Does anyone in here use a Prusa i3 Mk3? I'm looking to get into 3d printing and this seems to be a good model to start out with, though I'm not sure the print quality is decent enough to use it for modeling purposes.
