  1. Hey there! New product in the large scale out today: https://dnmodels.com/product/splinter-camouflage-paint-masks-for-f-104-starfighter-aerospace-aggressor-1-32/ Rather rare bird, but interesting and relatively new appearance.
  2. Great job! I admire your patience. I thought you were using DN Models' masks though - that's why the question.
  3. Did you make those /Hornet included/ hand-masking them?
  4. Beautiful build! It surprising how little is know about that french comic book and the TV series. I just recently re-watched them It is funny how the playboy then is now as far as possible from that standard. Nice topic! Thank you!
  5. In my eyes, overall Revell is 4 out of 10. That includes boxing, instructions, plastic quality, etc. Zoukei-Mura is 10 out of 10. I believe they are incomparable. Revell is closer to Airfix than to ZM.
  6. I think I expressed same overall opinion in the conclusion. Paying enough for something always justify the investment in the long run.
  7. That's the simple truth. I had one of these with some issues couple of years ago. I bought the needle, then the nozzle then something else and I payed like $8 for those. While for S15 I would've gotten a brand new one. Not necessarily. That can be easily fixed with simple needle polish techniques. It also a game of luck too. Sometimes they do spray very nicely from the box. But overall I am not a fan either.
  8. I watched a YT review few months ago. In Russian if I remember correctly. Iwata by Neo TRN is practically Sparmax GP. I don't know that for a fact since I don't have any NEO but it seems pretty damn close while looking at the pictures.
  9. Sorry, my bad. What I meant is: if someone tells you that Sparmax is worse then he is lying. Let me explain: Both are decent airbrushes. Not the best, but very good. However, some people tend to neglect the companies that are different from H&S and Iwata and that is completely wrong perception. So, if someone says that it is worse - that is actually false info. Even though it might not feel comfortable for some - as Out2gtcha likes Iwata better - I doubt that person who knows how to spray would even begin to think to categorize Sparmax as worse than anything. Would you Out2gtcha? I think not. Not if you know your way around airbrushing. Both airbrushes are in the same class. Price-wise different, but with similar capabilities. There is hardly a thing that Iwata is capable of and that Sparmax is not - thus either someone would lie to you, or he is not capable of using the Sparmax correctly. That is about the specific models mentioned of course. I hope that clears the clouds here.
  10. I tested a lot of airbrushes and I would suggest those: A good quality and if you can get spare parts nearby you, a great option: Fine airbrush, not worse than HP-BH. If someone tells you otherwise its probably a lie or he doesn't know how to spray: My personal favorite, if you are into the shape: And this is available as MAX 3. Same tool with different nozzle. Absolutely comparable with HP-C Plus which I adore. I have em both actually and they are pretty much the same quality: I hope that my efforts making those videos are finally worth it. At least for somebody
  11. We do. www.dnmodels.com PM me for more info if interested. We accept to make most of the projects but not all of them. Depends on the specifics.
  12. Gr.3 and AV-8A is what I am waiting for in 48th and 32nd. Since Red Dog blew me away with his Harrier in 24th here couple of years ago, I want to get a decent kit for those. Comparison with ZM is made just because F-4 is a benchmark for 48th scale jets. Their mindset is different, true that, but not with their 48th scale Phantom. it is rather well-know engineering but with ZM finesse included. Kinetic are better than Revell and most of Academy, but not from Aca. Smokey Joe. Hasegawa don't have anything to compare it with, not new anyhow, so maybe Eduard, but they are far more polished kits compared to Kinetic. Kinetic shows cheap mindset with the instructions and inconsistency with the details. With Eduard's 21 that is non-existent. By the way DN Models' mask set for the T-Harrier is ready. 13. This is the written review for the new Kinetic's kit: https://dnmodels.com/all/t-harrier-kinetic-1-48-two-seat-trainer-k48040/ Video will follow shortly. Hope you'll enjoy!
  14. Where I was born, old people have a saying: You cannot bring two watermelons under one armpit. Too many promises, too few realized projects. AMK promised Super Etendard too. I waited for Kinetic Doher more than 2 years, and then gave them the finger. Meng promised Mount Elbrus. If you know the list of 32nd scale projects that TAN promised you will know what I am talking about. That couldn't happen in the next 10 years. Not if 5-10 million dollars are not poured into that company. And without many questions asked from the investor. Even if the Flanker goes out, the F-4s, F-5s and F-111s won't happen soon. If ever.
