  16. Wow! That is some great build Tim and nice base as well
  17. DBMK posted couple of pics on their FB page https://www.facebook.com/people/DBMK-Model-Kits/100084846155184/ QUOTE:" Accuracy is the priority. At DBMK we are very lucky to be helped by SMEs to ensure that our kits are as accurate as possible. For the Hornet David Collins, who has built a full size Hornet cockpit, is kindly helping us. One of the key steps is to proof the CAD model shape which is what David is undertaking here. One thing you notice is that the Hornet is not small! I should also point out that these 3-D printed renders are NOT representative of the parts breakdown of the kit. They are to check the outline shape!"
  18. Wow! Amazin dio Mike! I cannot even imagine myslef to keep my focus for so long to finish the whole thing
  19. Me personally I will get this one even I have already the first release. But this will be the case only if Border has changed or improved clear parts, which could be this case. It states on image “Brand new Dambusters parts and clear parts included” so hopefully they have fix the clear parts.
  20. Absolutely stunning build Martin! Your finish makes it so realistic
  21. I do not think I'm the right person to comment on it Ali . Considering myself as a fan of HPH and Infinity I feel I'm biased in this regard. I started mine already and glued the wings together and started to work on interior. Generally I think its good model with great surface of the main parts and many details in cockpit. The fit is good, however almost every part requires at least a little cleaning and for my taste the plastic is too soft. When comparing to best new offerings like Kotare Spit or HKM A-20G, it is not in the same league. Missing parts numbering on sprues is quite annoying. On the other hand there are paint callouts for almost every part in instructions which I like a lot. And they are referring to MRP paints range which fits me. Engine has better details in resin, but again I like and sometimes prefer to build resin models so obvious option for me here. Well, and my thoughts when I started were, why they are releasing it in plastic for such a price tag (with additional sets included) when they could release it as full multimedia resin kit with crisper details, fabric seatbelts, masks for 50€ more But again, I'm more than happy to have the Val and will finish it in upcoming weeks and will wait for the release of the Kate. Regarding the pics, I will try to shoot some good pictures and maybe to start the WIP as well jan
  22. They started to ship orders last week I got mine on Friday HTH
  23. DBMK posted few new renders on their FB page https://www.facebook.com/people/DBMK-Model-Kits/100084846155184/ quote: Time for an update. One unexpected impact of the Ukraine war is that we will have our first three kits, the Scimitar, Hornet F.3 and Sea Fury FB.11, ready to tool all at the same time. In terms of getting them ready for sale it is 50/50 that we will have the Scimitar ready for Telford. We will not rush and compromise on quality hence the uncertainty.
  24. This is piece of art Peter! Wow its really different level of model building
