LSP_Ron
Do you want this to be extended until the end of October to facilitate those who are close to being finished with their builds? Please chime in. If not it we will be closing this GB on the 15th Cheers guys Ron
Derek B
Hi Ron, If it could be extended beyond that period (say, Christmas/New year ) , I may yet get a chance to at least try and make something (I did actually have something in mind...). Actually, any extension would actually be welcomed by me as there are so many really good builds in this group that I would love to see them all finished! Bear in mind that any build can be continued in Works in Progress after the GB deadline, so failure to finish here need not mean the end of the build thread. LSP_Ron
I think the end of October is about all we can offer to extend. As Kev mentions, staff can move unfinished build threads to WIP upon the request of the builder. Cheers Ron

TaffyMan
Well I could do with more time if it’s going. It will save me taking the walk of shame into WIP on my first Group Build. But hay I will go with the flow Taff

TaffyMan
Well, if you put it this way Taffy ... I'm forced to feel embarrassed Hey Tomek If doing the walk would give me your ability to twist and bend paper into perfect shapes like you can! Then I would keep on walking Happy Modelling
LSP_Ron
Behind the scenes we are discussing our whole approach with GB's. We have a smaller over all membership, yet the membership is more driven on quality builds rather than quantity builds and it appears our time limits on some GB's is to short. This GB had a rather large following for LSP therefor we ask, when do you want this GB to end?
Out2gtcha
Not sure if mine is included in that "following" but strictly speaking , as this is my first ever GB, Id love to be able to actually complete what I started. Im not sure how much time is too much, but Id definitely be be appreciative of any extra time. I think because of the sheer size and complexity of my GB entry, with lots of AM/resin and scratched details, made it even more of a challenge to get the quality outcome I desired in the GB time allotted. I think Matt and Taff should weigh in on this as well as those other who are moving on their Russian projects, cause I know Ive enjoyed watching others builds, and the GB aspect of thins does add some motivation. steel_tiger
I was seriously considering joining this group build, but the time frame was to short. I have plenty of russian subjects to do but my builds are slow, as my available time is limited, I decided to start something else. The large scale demands extra detail, it takes more time to do a quality build. While I have yet to do a build on here I was excited about this group build as my first contribution, alas the time was not going to work out.
