Designed with a tail-less configuration in an attempt to overcome "Compressibility", a phenomenon when aircraft

traveling above .75 mach encounter down-wash on the horizontal stabilizer's, causing the nose to "tuck under".

The Cutlass was the first US fighter desgined with afterburners, and the NAVY's first swept-wing fighter.

I wanted to build something different......this is definitely that,  My first ALL-RESIN-KIT of a REALLY different airplane.

As normal with me she will be "In-flight",   NMF combination silver lacquer and aluminum foil with a

I love it, buddy, you're gonna knock it clean outta the park with this build!

I'd like to do one gear down so I can catch that distinctive Gutlass nose-high attitude when sitting on the deck.

Love it!

Going to be a great build to follow and enjoy. As Brian said, Paul's kits are awesome and the detail is fantastic. I totally enjoyed my Sea Fury build and the one problem I had with fit, Paul came to the rescue.

Keep 'em coming

:( :( I'm now gonna have to call Paul, order a Gutless, and make one for my case.

Thanks man, you're SUCH A PAL, spending MY money like that!

Oh, you owe me 300 bucks, plus shipping!

(Paul Fisher, if you're reading this, you might as well prep one for me, I'll be calling in a few days)

Will do, Jack.

Thanks, buddy!

How are you ever gonna cope if you model, say, a Bristol Freighter? The gear's down and welded.

Hi Guy's,

Trying to test fit the wings , spar and upper fuselage to see how this will go together.  I have to play with the parts to figure the best

assembly routes since I want to use foil and paint for panels.  The panels work out to be 2 different shades of silver lacquer and 2 different

foil treatments.  Can not have uneven seams with silver/foil. Did I mention this is my first All Resin kit?

Also finishing up my SAM for the Vietnam G/B

     Will post some pics soon

      Thanks for checking in
