mschoo
Well, I think that the photos in this thread are forever going to put an end to the "what would YOU put in your dream workshop" questions-- this looks like the most incredibly well stocked, well laid out and pristine model room I've ever even heard of! Great progress, you're really tackling this methodically and carefully! Cheers Mike

dodgem37
Rammstein, Thank you for the explanations. I am amazed with and love what you are doing. Will you be scratchbuilding and casting deck stuff? Or are there aftermarket companies you will be using? Thank you. Sincerely, Mark

LSP_Kevin
Rammstein, this is modelling on such a grand scale that I can hardly take it in. Your work is amazing; you obviously have a great talent for engineering, as well as modelling. Kev

mattlow
Got to agree with Kev. This is more engineering than modelling. Also, your workspaces are always so amazingly clean and tidy! Matt
Youngtiger1
Holy cow, a 1/35 scale destroyer...Wow. That thing is huge. I have a hard time tackling small scratch build project for my 1/32 kits and your doing this beast... BTW, I see that you have a scale drawing to build a 1/96 USS Essex CV-9 Carrier I bet you will need a full room just to house such model. Anyway, awesome work my friend. Keep up the good work. Mike
rammstein
hello all, thanks for the kind replies. @ Youngtiger1 : if you look at the last photo of page one you will see that space is not the problem , the boat in center is 3 meters long the whole complex is 20 meters x 8 meters. I can place an Essex Class carrier in scale 1/32 in this room. some more photo's. the front section nearing completion. front section complete , ready to get fixed on the other 2 sections. the next 4 photo's are of the complete hull from different angles. I hope my stock of tubing will arrive soon , so I can make the deck supports. enjoy, Rammstein
