LSP_K2
OK, fellas, this will be one of my entries in the 2015 IPMS region 5 competition, hosted by my home chapter. The Dragon 1:6 Flak gun appealed to me from the moment I first saw it, and a stroke of good fortune allowed for its purchase. Not really a lot to say here, save that I'll be adding a few details, though basically kit is pretty well detailed OOB. LSP_K2
Thanks, guys, I appreciate it. The kit is pretty well detailed, and seems to be fairly accurate as well, so hopefully the "embellishments" will be minimal, plus I don't really have a lot on the weapon; two books and some walk around photos, and the books are more generic, rather than specific. mywifehatesmodels
I always thought the quad 20mm was a cool piece of hardware. in this scale it should be amazing! John LSP_K2

mywifehatesmodels
Hey K2, Just a quick note. I hope you have a plan for breaking the gun down into subassemblies as these things are a bugger to paint as a whole. Dan Don't you guys just tow them behind your cars? Mounts for guns will be left unattached until the last, and are also the two pieces that need the most detail added, as Dragon sort of skipped over the reality as far as they are concerned. LSP_K2
Slowly but surely, work has commenced on the gun assemblies. Still lots to do per side before they're complete though. Mal_Belford and Girlscanplay2

LSP_K2
As my older girl used to say when she was two, "beeeeg one." It is rather large, but I really like this particular gun. I've built several so far (all 1:35 scale), and just can't seem to get enough of them. Bill Cross

LSP_K2
As it's not LSP related, I decided to post this here, instead of the MTOJ thread. Yesterday I received these, the result of a compulsive and frivolous eBay bid. I was really only interested in the sFH 18, and it's a gorgeous kit. The Pak 40 I already have a mint one of, so it'll probably go back on eBay. (Got them all cheap too.) Girlscanplay2 and Bill Cross
