mozart
Following my useful visit to the JetAge Museum in the Cotswolds today, a couple of quickies of the “main event” the glorious Gloster Gamecock: and a lovely shot of a pair of Grebes: I took lots of pictures of the Gamecock of course and will probably do a walkaround, but also a Typhoon cockpit being restored which will probably go into my Typhoon build in the Overlord GB Edited February 14 by mozart MikeC, Iain, BiggTim and 11 others 10

That’s fine Pete, I have quite a lot on my plate model-wise at the moment so no immediate rush. My Jaguar engine is on its way from Silver Wings, and whilst chatting to Simon it transpires (no great surprise) that his Dad did the masters for the Gamecock, as well of course those for the Fury. What an incredibly talented man, how on earth do they do it, I’d love to know the “process”. Edited February 16 by mozart
europapete
Talented indeed. Lovely kits. Yes, it would be interesting to see the process. I love reading Peter Castles' progress on the S6 here. mozart
Archimedes
Wow the Gamecock is a pugnacious looking machine! The Bader photo reminds me of reading “Reach for the Sky” which had that shot within its pages. Thanks for the photos! Kind regards, Paul mozart
