Citadelgrad
My amazing wife took me to see the USS Iowa for my birthday earlier this week. I have always wanted to see it, so we took Tuesday off and made it happen. Fleet Week ended the day before, and these birds were still there. We got to watch them take off from the deck of the Iowa. The ship was fascinating, but I took some photos of the birds, and this video. V-22 with an interesting tail number. My dad flew the tiltrotor prototype when he was in the USAF way back in the 1980s. It's LOUD. Martinnfb, LSP_K2, LSP_Matt and 3 others
Oldbaldguy
It was amazing to see oblivious people in the background going about their business like they see this happen every day. So, this is currently kitted in 1/72 and 1/48 which makes me wonder if anyone (ICM maybe?) will ever do a decent kit in LSP scale. I, for one, would love it.
