This is both meticulous and spectacular! You’ve really brought this aircraft to life, both through your hard work and the historical perspective. Well done!

Cheers,  Tom

Brilliant work man! Real eye candy. Well done!

If I may ask, what was your method for painting the exhausts?

Best,

Nikola

Thanks Nikola. Thank you for the kind words. It was an extraordinary journey, historical and modeling.

As others have noted, amazing work.   How did you dull down all the markings?  They are very well done.   Nothing looks worse than a extensively weathered model with immaculate national insignias / markings.

Black primer, then aero Tamiya XF 56 + XF 10 in a ratio of 1:1, finally with a brush the same paints XF56 + XF10 in a ratio of 1:2. Finally, a blend of Abteilung oils.

I painted them with an airbrush, postshading mostly with Buff. In addition, I wiped with abrasive sponges, applied oils, and finally there were crayons.
