P-51B Mustang, 1/32, Trumpeter - 529th FS China

My dear friends,

I already started a new project, the P-51B Mustang 1/32 from Trumpeter. I know this kit has a lot of bugs and I will try to eliminate some. I‘ll use some aftermarket parts for the project:

1 Aires cockpit

2. Aires gun bay

3. Aires main landing gear shaft

4. Eduard Hamilton propeller with spinner and wheels

4. Quick Boost exhausts

5. Quick Boost undercarriage covers

6. Montex masks.

 

It will be a 10th (14th) AF, 311th FG, 529th FS machine from CBI battlefield. I have Montex masks for the selected camouflage. I spent many hours getting photos for the selected camouflage. However, Polish friends failed to make a decal on the right side of the aircraft - emblem 529th FS. Fortunately, the current successor to 529th FS - 133th Air Refueling Fighter Squadron uses almost the same badge. I'll try to make a decal out of it.
