Tolga ULGUR
Hi For my third Bf 110 project, I would like to clarify desert camouflage scheme for upper surfaces (especially top of the wings). This is Bf 110E-3 trop (5F YK W.Nr 3454) used in N Africa. It seems that colors are RLM78/79 with possibly RLM 80 patches . They don t look thin like squiggles, they look thicker. Is there anyone who can help with how the green (RLM80) application on top surfaces looks? I have found an Xtradecal sheet in Hannants. This is a Bf 110D with same colors but application a little bit different. More like the stone effect. This scheme is suitable for 5F YK seen in above pictures. Thanks in advance nmayhew
justplanecrazy
is it just me or does the sand color appear to be splotched on the underside as well in the top photo? Paul in Napier

Kagemusha
You have to bear in mind the first photo is colourized from a black and white original. D.B. Andrus, Tolga ULGUR and ivanmoe
Tolga ULGUR
Well.... Plan changed due to uncertainities of top surfaces camo pattern. So I decided to built the following C6 . This machine has larger under cowling radiator intakes and tropical air filter equipment. These squiggles will be a new challenge for me..Then good luck to me.. Alain Gadbois
Good choice. 5F+YK seems to have parallel wavy green lines (different from the colour profile interpretation) and the top pattern is not known if there is no other photo of this aircraft...
