Air War Over Korea Group Build Discussion.

Since I finally cracked the wallet and bought the Tamiya F4U-1A, I need some advice from you gull-winged junkies. I had always wanted to do a WW2 Marine Corsair, but all this talk about Korea has got me wondering: were -1As used in Korea by the Marines at all? Or was it all later models like the -4? Even if that's an option, I don't think I'll get to it in time for this GB, but I'd like to start researching anyway.

Oh boy, another possibility to add to the endless possibilities for the KH Texan :-)

Seriously, even over all the WnW stuff that I'm crazy about, that KH AT-6 is the kit I lusted for the most, and he one I'm most pleased with.

I own 3, with more to come.

It was long, long, long overdue. Now, a Vultee Vibrator and Twin Beech will round out my US WW2 trainer collection.

Martin,

I don't know if you were the world's best unborn Soviet Spy back in the Korean War, but boy, you have the coolest of pictures.
