Yes Peter its going better than my F-84.

The mistakes made there are not going to happen now (i hope).

Hi Mark

You Sabre is looking great and by making mistakes, is how we learn and just part of the process. Looking forward to your next update.

I'm finally almost done sanding and polishing. I have the flaps and tail feathers on and of course, completely screw up when I broke off one of the horizontal mounting lugs. Sure hope my fix holds. Hoping to do a small update today and the shoot some Tamiya flat black on over all the seams to see how I did.

I aply the adhesive on the model its easyer to do panel by panel.

If u do it on the foil u dondt have that much control just my opinion.

Thanks for that Mark..going to giv er a go on the post war Tempest coming up,the time I tried foiling was applying it to the foil and yes.not a lot of control,but I had other issues as well,what a mess it was..

Going to try it your way this time..it looks great.

You got her beat.can't wait to see her all dressed up. :popcorn:  :popcorn:  :popcorn:

Yes its a lot off fun and i have more kits to foil.

But im thinking after this one im going to make sommthing without foil :hmmm:

I like this one more than my first one but i learnd a lot about it and she have a special place.

 

If i look at my F-86 outside in the daylight its just woooooow no hoping i can make it good still a long way to go.

Looking forward to see your foiling job.

Take your time and try on a old model kit.

I have tryd it first on a old F-4 Phantom to get the feeling before i have done my F-84.
