OldTroll
Photo is a frame from the Alfred Hitchcock movie "North by Northwest" with Cary Grant, Eva Marie Saint and James Mason. Pretty good spy thriller from yesteryear.

Zero77
I've bought 4 of the silver wings models a few days ago, and damn the quality is crazy ! They are cute little jewels craving for being built ! Regarding the Stearman, is their any conversion / add on / another kit planned to make this kind of stearman, with engine cowls and teardrop wheel covers? There are a quite lot of Stearmans involved in aerial shows, and the schemes are very interesting !
Silver Wings
Thank you Zero77! The answer to your question is no, due to economical matters.
Zero77
Ok, thanks for your answer, I will certainly buy one anyway ! Just for the information, i've just seen 2 of those Breitling Stearmans last sunday at a show in France, with wing walkers. It was very impressive, and the girls walking on the planes were very young and skinny. Enduring a looping standing on one leg on a plane wing must be crazy ! And even crawling out of the cockpit and climbing on the wing while flying is a great perfomance ! I will post pictures later. Out2gtcha
Regarding the Stearman, is their any conversion / add on / another kit planned to make this kind of stearman, with engine cowls and teardrop wheel covers? There indeed are a lot of interesting and beautiful cowled stearmans out there! Id think that a stearman conversion w/a cowl, and pants, made for the SW kit could be a good idea for the after market guys...............Im obviously no producer of resin, but from the looks of things as I have the Stearman kit, it wouldnt take that much to make an AM kit I wouldnt think
seiran01
Agree with Brian, I've got the kit en route and would probably jump at some crazy bright air show bird. That said, the blue and yellow trainer scheme is also wonderfully bright so I have no hesitations to do a standard trainer scheme

Zero77
Sorry guys i've forgotten to post the pictures of the wing walkers show. Here are a few (sorry for the poor quality, but they were shot with a cellphone) : For the information, according to the air reglementation laws, every crew must take off with seatbelts buckled. So the girls take off in their seats, with seatbelt. And only once airborn they unbelt themselves and climb on the upper wing and belt again on the bar. And reverse operation for the landing.
