Jeff T
Next step should be to blend the demarcation between RLM 76 and RLM 81/82 but looking more carefully what I did, I found an error, the wing camou should be extended a bit further to the line marked with a red arrow. Alberto Good observation Alberto!.....after reading your post, I had a look at my current 262 build, and its the same.I had the camo stopping at the wing join when it should go a bit past it. Good work! Cheer's, Jeff. Edited March 27, 2013 by JT68

alberto49
Done some progress on this project too. First I decided that I will try to replicate this "Red 13" And here following are some pictures: Jet engine is just dry fitted. It's now time to coat everything with future and start thinking to marking. I got the Eagle Cal sheet but I think that I will use masks as well. Any comment/suggestion is very welcome. alberto49
Hi, I did some progress on this build: I decided to spray-on the German crosses using masks. As much as I can, I prefer to do in this way because i.m.h.o the final result is more realistic, because they are "painted" as in the reality and I can use a very dark grey instead of black and and a very light grey instead of pure white. Now I have to decide about swastikas, they should be black lined in white an this makes the mask job a bit too difficult for me so I will have to use decals and afterwords tune done that pure black. Any comment and/or suggestion is very welcome.. Alberto Edited May 3, 2013 by alberto49

alberto49
Hi everybody, after a while I can say that this job is now complete. Unfortunately I cannot upload any photo because my usual image-sharing website doesn't work since some days. I hope this issue will be sorted out soon, in the mean time if you want to have a look you can go here. http://www.ww2aircraft.net/forum/start-finish-builds/me-262-trumpeter-kit-1-32-a-35597-10.html#post1023199 Loading my picture there was possible because they can be loaded directly from the p.c. scvrobeson
This looks really good! The camo and weathering look very nice on the kit. This is a cool looking plane in any marking scheme, and you've done a very good job on the build. Matt

alberto49
Thanks to all for the nice comments. Now some pictures of the underside: I personally think that some refinements are still required, specially dry-brushing here and there. I will do them when I will be back in Milan in September.
