Barry
Here we go lots of photos. Tried to keep them large enough to see well.
Barry
Floats, "hollow" Engine Cowling is a real beauty inside and out! Engine and Propeller, Spinner is hollow Check out these cylinder castings they are really beautiful Cylinder Heads are every bit as nice! Fuselage interior framing Cast on a slab of resin, all the interior framing is cast this was. There maybe a little patience needed here to separate them cleanly and without breaking anything. Wings are upper and lower designed with a front and rear spar as opposed to being solid. You can see channels for spars Wing surface detail Control surfaces Surface detail looks to be finely done and should look good under a coat of paint. Additional fuselage interior components Engine exhaust and wing to fusleage joining rib with metal pins.
Barry
Where's the canopies you ask. Well here is the only warped pieces I've found in either kit.
Barry
It is not bad and I believe I can correct the problem with a "little" heat and some judicious bending. They are cleanly cast, very clear and had interior frame detail.

LSP_Kevin
Wow, what a beautiful kit! Thanks for posting the photos Barry. I'm amazed at how well all the rivet detail has been captured by the resin. As for removing the wafer backing, I'd assume sanding it off might be preferable to trying to cut it away. Kev
Barry
Better photo of color etch it is really quite nice. The table map is a trick!
Barry
Last but not least; decals again they look very nice and in register.
Barry
Kit also includes paint mask for canopies it like the PE appear to be an Eduards contribution. I think the kit looks absolutly awesome it will require some skill especially the framing but all in all IMO it's a winner. Almost forgot the attaching struts for the floats. Like in the Catapult they are all cast with a internal metal wire for strength.

Barry
PS how about a USN Catapult and a Kingfisher?
LSP_Ron
It is not bad and I believe I can correct the problem with a "little" heat and some judicious bending. They are cleanly cast, very clear and had interior frame detail. Give it a soak nearly boiling hot water (tap water will work). That will straighten things out. Resin has a memory so it should go back to "as cast" dimension on it's own with a soak in the hot water. Nice looking kit but I think I'll wait to see what the ROG release looks like. That interior framing cast to a big block looks a little to daunting for me?
MikeMaben
That does look nice. Thanks for posting the pix Barry.
Wurzacher
Barry, thank you very much for getting the corners of my mouth wet... And thanks a lot for showing us both kits! They look great, and i for my part think that the price requested for the Arado ( Euro 115.00 / $138 ) is more than reasonable when i look at the phantastic parts. Hope you have a lot of fun building these kits, and hope you´ll let us take part when doing so. Thomas
