No, had just to many magazins stowed in the lower panels, they pushed zu much on the side panels until the two panels in the middle fell out of their supports...

Dies this one qualify as your first jayed model? That's always sad, but hey, its just a model. Go out, get a new one, make it better than before! Years back I lost nearly my whole collection of about 20 models, when the board collapsed...
  3. No problem at all
  4. We had this a while back. Look here. That's at least a start
  5. Uh! Ah! Almost wetted myself Now that's finally some very good news. I'd like to do that colourfull scheme from Italerie's 1/72 (forgive me!) birdy, that bare metal/red one.
  6. Very nicely done. Not that I had expected something else
  7. The right tool to get the plane of deck now is a broom... Interesting pics, though.
  8. Thanks a lot, Chris. My concern was, that the flat coat could leave a milky residue, like I already experienced it with other clear coats. ...and its still not messed up, yet
  9. Hi folks, I have a question if I can use future in a certain way, or if I have to go the long road... I'm sitting over an instrument panel and want to use decals for the dials. No big deal, first coat the panel with the right colour, paint th details. shoot a layer of gloss on it and decal it then. But as most panels are flat, I definitely have to shoot another layer on it, and here is, where I'd like to hear your advise: Can I go for a layer of Future and Tamiya Flat Base and add a drop of pure Future to the dials again, or do I have to seal it with a layer of gloss first, mask the dial faces and go for the flat then? The first way would be easier, I suppose, but before I everything up, I better ask
  10. That's what I call a "breakfast for champions"
  11. Nice!
  12. I knew it, I knew it! The white 5 Very fine, I like the preshading effect. I hope mine turns out at least half as nice.
  13. Nice, as usual
  14. I might have posted it before, if not, this is a very stunning project Anyways, I have a question: how did you do the radiator front (especially the pipes)? That question is buggering me for a long time, how to recreate a realistic radiator front.
  15. While I pretty much fail on achieving a glossy finish with my Future-replacement, it works a charm with Tamiya Flatbase.
  16. You should be able to superglue clear parts after you futured them. Haven't had the guts yet to try it by myself on a model, but I heard that before and I had success doing so with test pieces. Of course, the painted, non-clear parts should probably be prepared, too.
  17. Hm, a simple one... My guess is, the tactical number is white and one hand is enough to show it?
  18. Outstanding build! I have to second, this is the finest One-Oh-Nine I've seen so far (at least the finest, I can remember for the moment ).
  19. Rightclick -> Save as... Just what I needed for my Atar, and easier than I wanted to approach it. Stunning build so far
  20. FYI, the song was from Queen
  21. Mirages .... now theres a happy thought! Unfotunately the Mirages I am working on are in super braille scale (48th) so wont appear here - the thought of a 32nd Cheetah though - yummy stuff! M Sorry for the OT, but speaking of Cheetahs, I know someone who's working on a '32 doubleseater, just my progress is so fawking slow And then I'm still an analog photographer with a crappy scanner, but I'll let you know in time, when the film is full and developed Very nice Salamander, btw. Read over it most likely, but this will be a gear-up birdie?
  22. Very beautiful!
  23. Wow, I miss the right words now, but this is definitely an outstanding piece of work!
  24. Wow, that's excellent work. Madman strikes again!
  25. An ingenious technique and a very convincing result. Very well done!
