  1. Beautiful. What great lines she has....far nicer than the Bf 109. Might add one of these to the stash. Lovely finish John. When will the MAI issue be out?
  2. Hi Jerry, I will indeed do an update this week. I have also used the G-Factor brass oleas and they are superb. Just added a white primer to the airframe prior to camo etc and I'm pretty pleased with it at the moment, despite this being my first venture into this level of kit destruction Just waiting for my dio base to arrive too, and if Steve Gallaci got my PM, then I can look forward to a correctly profiled 190D prop too Jim
  3. That looks beautiful. I like the paint job and the cowl looks great
  4. Great looking stuff Peter. I'll order some Luftwaffe wheel chocks from you later today too.
  5. I can highly recommend them. I've seen most, if not all, all the released sets, and they are superb.
  6. Cheers Steve I'll add that to the scraps box then. Jim
  7. Still plodding on with the Hasegawa 190D-9 and I was wondering if the machines operated by JV44 would ever have been fitted with the drop tank. As these machines were primarily used for jet fighter protection, would there have been a need to fit them? Sorry for being so utterly clueless! Jim
  8. Lovely work Chris. We don't see many 'Owls' and the build quality is wonderful.
  9. You know you want to I have the Dragon 1/48 Ta 152 etch stuff, but STILL don't have the kit
  10. VERY nice Bob.........have I not spent enough already!! Must get me some. Do your bomb packs fit these?

  13. I've just had to build a Challenger tank for a commission, and I'll post some new stuff up here as soon as I've motivated myself
  14. Many thanks Charles, that is wonderful. Confirms just what I suspected Jim
  15. I buy my plastic stock from either Relish Models www.www.relishmodels.co.uk, Netmerchants www.netmerchants.co.uk or Models For Sale www.modelsforsale.co.uk. Jim
  16. A thin smear of petroleum jelly should help. It worked with my CA but still need to try it with the gel stuff.
  17. I'm working on the tail section of my Fw 190D-9 and I've installed scratchbuilt oxygen tanks in the extended fuselage section. The question is what colour were these tanks? I'm thinking they may have been the same blue colour used for the cockpit oxygen related gauges etc. Any help guys? Jim
  18. Have to agree. Fitted them to my Dora and they are superb.
  19. Is this kit a re-boxing or an original Revell release?
  20. But you were doing a wonderful job David. How bad can it be? Love your work so far Jim
  21. I have a set of these for use on my 190D-9 and I highly recommend them. The casting is very crisp. If it suits, try the tailwheel set too. That set is amazing. Jim
  22. Bloody gorgeous! Not often you see one of those.
  23. Is there any more progress on this model? I'd love a few tips for the nearish future
