  1. I'd love a Blenheim. Not the stub nose glasshouse version, but the longer nosed one. I love the Blenheim. I built a few of the 1/72 Airfix ones when I was a kid.
  2. No Charles, it is in the spiel on that link by the guy who spent time at the Trumpeter factory. I took time to read the article on the link. I thought because this topic was related to that link, it would have been obvious what I was quoting. Sorry if it wasn't.
  3. WHat did you use to wash that cockpit? Waldron placards? Can they still be bought, if so, where from? Got this topic bookmarked
  4. Bloody hell. If I build this, I need Radus Sutton Harness too...........better put my order in, just in case Lovely work on that cockpit. Absolutely gorgeous.
  5. Those stripes look perfect. I always hate that bit of a build....never quite right for me.
  6. Can we pay these via Paypal? How do we get this ball rolling? Is there a guy to do the etch?
  7. I'd use the conversion. Si sent me his other set, and with some loving care, it should make a nice 'S'. Some lines may need a little rescribing, and a little plasticard could be used in places, but it provides MORE than an adequate conversion set. Get the new tool Hasegawa kit and use as intended.
  8. I got a billing notification too, despite already paying via Paypal for it. Can't wait to see this kit. I'll do a full review when it lands.
  9. Jeez, this is sensory overload! Keep it coming please
  10. I love it! You did a great job on those seatbelts, especially with the numbering. What finish you got planned for this? I did mine in that awful snake scheme.
  11. This looks tasty. I saved up for this kit in 1984, when it cost about £8 . Lord, I feel old.
  12. Montex make some great Swiss marking masks is you opt for the E-3 from Eduard. I think that's the route I'll be going even though I should have this kit before long. I've popped some info about the release on my site at: http://scaleplasticandrail.com/kaboom/inde...ent/article/160 Jim
  13. Bloody gorgeous work on that prop Jerry. I'd love to see more. Jim
  14. I'd kill for an F-86 Sabre (regular) in that scale
  15. That looks fantastic Ron. I love that rugged finish it's got. Because of you, I've now bought one!
  16. I have these 2 pics from a set I took when I visited Duxford:
  17. That is beautiful. The Typhoon is a brute and I think you captured that well. Love the paintjob. How well did this go together?
  18. I'm watching this one with interest. Just how much reference is there for this machine, and the cockpit(s)? Can somebody post some reference sources up for prospective builders?
  19. The 190S is something I've wanted to do for ages. Couldn't find the resin conversion kit though
  20. I have some of the finer MDC sanding sponges and they are great. I also have the sanding sticks you mention and yes, they aren't finishing grade, but the sponges are, and I usually take thin slices for small work.
  21. I usually apply Mr Dissolved Putty with a cocktail stick, but I do know that Premi-Air Liquid Reamer will clean it off very well.
