    Very nice build. Barry
  6. I agree with you guys. I started "taping" mine up over the weekend. There are several areas that will need some TLC but Czech have provided us a great foundation to build on. Barry
  7. I agree with Texas "that's really neat". Barry
  8. I'm in for the pit as well. Barry
  9. Your work continues to amaze us all. Please keep the updates coming you work is extraordinary !!!!!!!! I love what you are doing with the brass. I myself have found it to be very useful much stronger yet thinner than plastic. Barry
  10. Harold, Looking forward to any and all upgrades you offer for this one. Barry

I agree with Phantomdriver. I picked up the Zotz sheet; the stencil data makes up for the lacking in the kit's decals but I was not excited by the Sq markings. Looking GOOD Rob.
  12. Kit arrived today from Sprue Brothers. First impression is that moldings are clean very little if any flash. Panel lines are fine and hinge details are nicely done. Surface of several pieces is a little rough, nothing a rubbing down will not cure. Wing, Elevator and Rudder trailing edges are thin and should finish nicely. One of my wings had minor damage on the trailing edge possible from shipping, easily fixed. Cockpit detail is not bad but could have been a little more pronounced I think. Etched Instrument Panel is nicely done to include the proper "yellow" color found on instruments of the time. Resin parts are up to Squadron's normal standards. Large Decal sheet is beautifully done by Aero Master giving three different choices. Instruction booklet in nicely illustrated though I saw a couple of items with vague locations noted. Overall I think they have a winner here. The kit should build into an excellent representation of this early jet. I may have to stop one of my other projects and take a crack at this one. Barry
  13. Did you start a separate thread on the Huey with photos of the cockpit area? More GREAT Work !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Barry
  14. How are you accomplishing the riveting on the brass sheet? Barry
  15. The challenge is where the learning comes from. Do you have a personal attachment to the Huey? Keep the photos coming I am very interested in watching your build progress. What are you using for you rivet spacing on the brass, a NWSL table? Barry
  16. I received my Eduards Bf-109E-1 from Gordon at Sprue Brothers yesterday. While I am no expert on the 109 I have always be an admirer of its graceful yet efficient lines. I believe that Eduards has done a beautiful job in rendering the subject. The level of detail is excellent and it will build into a beautiful model of the early version of this famous aircraft. It will look great posed with the Dragon 110 or Revell 88 in an early war diorama.
  17. You keep learning and producing results like this and you going to be teaching. Excellent, Excellent Work !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Barry
  18. I say you have returned in style. Excellent work thus far. Maybe one day I will get to my MDC, Tony. Barry
  19. Good morning folks, I am Barry Chandler and I live in Savannah, GA in the good old USA. After years of no place, garages, attics and basements I now have a sanctuary of my own.
  20. There is nothing left to say but WOW! Barry
  21. Ironman, I will be eagerly following your build as I had the same thoughts about converting one of my HC kits to a Mustang I. Keep it coming. Barry
  22. If you are looking to added extended/lowered flaps to your F-4 this is the way to go. If you are looking to build a JASDF F-4EJ Kai then you are going to want this kit. It is very nicely done in my humble opinion.
