  1. Main issue is that they are extremely thick, and the carrier film is hard to remove (even though some have succeeded using enamel thinner).
  2. Actually just wish someone did aftermarket Qatar decals as I'm a little fearful of how bad the Takom ones would be. Happy to take on the trickier build - it *can* be done but hard to change crap decals! Have got the Caracal set to deal with all the stencils, but doesn't get around the issue with the main markings.
  3. An honour! Thank you Kev.
  4. Thanks for all the kind words everyone!
  5. Hi all, first post on these forums. Many thanks for all the tips and insights everyone on here has shared that have gone into my builds!
  6. Interesting, I wasn't expecting that!
  7. Rivets are also not the raised type that Meng and Takom have done so well. And you just know with Trumpeter's pricing for their bigger kits that it's not going to be particularly competitive on that side either.
  8. Those MH-60R's were going for ludicrous prices, £200 / $300 ish range. Luckily managed to grab an AH-6J and an SH-60 for less than their original retail via china, and once the rumours about molds being acquired came out, I figured it would not be worth paying anything above retail as they'd eventually show back up anyways.
  9. I thought it was well documented that Snowman did the CAD for the Takom, so I'd imagine that they also sold it on to MEng?
