SeaVenom got a reaction from Thunda in Will we get any more 1/32 kits from Hasegawa?
No doubt there's details here and there that can be added (like with most kits) but the only real things I could be bothered adding is new gun barrels and seatbelts as I didn't make the pilot (unlike I did with the P40).   Unless you have the engine on display there's not much that can be seen and the pit and wheel wells look ok to me.

I love my Japanese aircraft too but I think they will do more of those if they carry on the 1/32 line anyway as they've done quite a few already.   They seemed to alternate between axis and allied.

As Jennings and fightersweep says there's plenty of room for improvement on that disappointing new Revell kit.   I'd rather pay a bit more for something more accurate.

I know we'll get more reissues of existing kits with new colour schemes etc (that's all Hasegawa seem to do these days with most of their kits) but Hasegawa seemed to release a new 1/32 kit every year or so a while back., but the last new kit I seem to remember was the George.

I'd like to see a new Hurricane, Brewster Buffalo and a Mk1 Spitfire in 1/32.   .

SeaVenom got a reaction from LSP_K2 in QUESTION: the finish of real warplanes in WW2
WW2 aircraft always look dead flat to me in photographs and I think they look great with that finish especially with weathering.   Semi gloss or satin just doesn't look right or as good to me.    That's the finish I always try and strive for but getting a decent matt finish isn't easy seeing as most so called matt lacquers give a satin finish and are pretty rubbish.

I posted this on Britmodeller too (though not sure it's available outside of the UK)...............

Don't know if anyone else has seen this yet but I got some and it seems to be fairly good.   Like many people no doubt I've been frustrated with most so called "matt" lacquers which aren't matt at all and have patchy awful finishes but this stuff seems to be pretty good and it's totally simple to use.

It's not dead flat which is what I really want but it's still a very nice pretty matt finish.  It seems also to be able to be sprayed over many different paint surfaces too.  What it's like long term I don't know and whether there might be some sort of paint reaction down the line but at the moment it seems like a good idea if you want a neat looking fairly matt finish.

It is a bit more expensive than the other Halfords paints though but I'd recommend trying it..

As usual some idiot's got the wrong end of the stick and started rumours about a new 1/24th kit.

I haven't got the 1/24 Typhoon yet but from what I've seen it looks like an incredible kit so even a new 109E and Spit Mk1 up to the same standards would be great as the old kits are long in the tooth now.

Plus I'd like to see an EE Lightning and Brit Phantom.

My fault for taking your post too literally.    Certainly a lot of possibilities with the Texan as you say.
