Hi guys,
I recently became a member and felt I should say hello in my first post here! Well, after a long 'reading mode' I decided to register to the forum and join the community. I found many inspirational threads running here which have encouraged me to try myself in larger scale. I don't have much time for the hobby but nevertheless from time to time I manage to finish something.
My entry contribution is Polikarpov I-16 by ICM. The picture of this particular plane can be found in In Action #162. The model is referenced as type 10 but considering e.g. the different propeller serious doubts arise. Following the argument found on kitchecker.com model journal I'm inclined to the view this is type 18. So kitbashing two sets I had all necessary elements.
The model is rather simple, as I-16 plane is. I made it OOB except Eduard's harness and ski rigging. Hope you like her
