Laminar Flow Design 3D printed seamless intake for Tamiya Phantom
32scalelover replied to orion2's topic in Vendors Board
Unfortunately I don't know anyone with a printer. I found a place that will print them, but they have 4 choices for the type of printer. (FDM, SLA, DLP, SLS) What is the best type printer for this application? Greg -
Laminar Flow Design 3D printed seamless intake for Tamiya Phantom
32scalelover replied to orion2's topic in Vendors Board
I got the intakes in the cart and found out the shipping was going to cost more than the parts, so I ended up not getting them. Thanks for the heads up. Hopefully someone will distribute them in the US to get the shipping cost down. Greg -

Looking at the website it doesn't have an "email when in stock" or backorder that I can see. Guess I will just check the site occasionally. -

I snagged 1 and the folding wing tips at Squadron with free shipping. A lot of places I looked were out of stock or didn't have any accessories. Glad I got one when I did. Greg

At SB if anyone is interested. It is the closest I will get to owning a Border Lancaster. https://spruebrothers.com/bdmbf008-1-32-border-model-avro-lancaster-b-mk.i/iii-nose-with-full-interior/ Greg

1/24 Spitfire Mk XI - XVI low back conversion coming
32scalelover replied to 32scalelover's topic in LSP Discussion
Doesn't look like it. They may do some later or the set will be pretty worthless unless you make your own. Greg -

Rainer, Wow thanks for that breakdown. So I was looking at the renderings and I am not seeing the saw tooth in the vertical stabilizer. Have you looked at the renderings to see if JetMADS did all the correct mods or is just adding air to ground weapons to the AJ? Thanks, Greg

Thanks Dennis. Doesn't sound like that big of difference. I will probably just stick with the one I have. Greg
