Another 1/48 build from earlier in the year. This was painted in Tamiya acrylics with pre and post shading. This was an OOB build with the exception of Aires ejection seats.

I have always loved the Phantoms and am currently building a Tamiya 1/32 F-4J.

This was my last 1/48 build before moving onto 1/32. What a great kit to build!

As usual I airbrushed this with Tamiya acrylics. I pre shaded and post shaded this bird with lightened base colours. Weathering was done with oil paints, watercolour pencils and AK Interactive pigments. This was an OOB build.

    Hi guys,

As my first post, I would like to share some photos of my completed BF-109F-4.

I built this kit OOB with the exception of the RB Productions seat harness.

Custom mixes made from Tamiya acrylics were used, masks for the insignia and numbers were cut from Frisket film and airbrushed. I used AK Interactive oils, pigments and washes for the weathering, as well as the hairspray technique and watercolour pencils.

This kit was a pleasure to build and there were no major dramas along the way.

    Hi guys,

Here are some photos of the 1/32 Tojo I completed before I built the BF-109F-4.

I used Alclad Airframe Aluminium overall (I had issues with it peeling off when removing masking) and picked out panels with Alclad Aluminium. The control surfaces and anti-glare were airbrushed with Tamiya acrylics. The hinomarus and numbers were masked with Frisket film and airbrushed. I used watercolour washes for the panel lines and gave the undersides a light dusting with pigments and heavily diluted Tamiya acrylics. This kit was an OOB with the only addition being a Finemolds seat harness.

This was the first 1/32 build in my move away from 1/48. My only previous 1/32 builds were the Hasegawa Spitfire years ago.

I recently finished this build of the Hasegawa 1/32 P-40E

Finished in custom mixes of Tamiya acrylics and weathered with AK Interactive oils, washes and pigments. The hairspray technique and watercolour pencils were also used in the weathering process.

This kit was built OOB with the only additions being the seat harness from Finemolds.

I handcut the masks for the shark mouth and insignia from Frisket film and airbrushed them all.

These build took just over 1 month and the only issues I had were with the fit at the wing root. A little bit of gentle persuasion solved this.
