  1. Guy, Kev and Maru, thank you for the comments guy's!....much appreciated! Cheer's, Jeff.
  2. Thanks Mark, yeah, I ended up putting some small strips of Tamiya Tape at the base of them to cover the marks on the clear part from the multiple attempts at glueing them on, and painted them black....I’ll just say that the owner had a problem there and had to put some duct tape on it… Looking at the pics, I need to adjust the fairing on the right side a touch too. Jeff.
  3. Hey all, This is something right out of left field for me, my first ever motorbike model, ..I have always liked the look of Tamiya's Motorbike kits when done well, even though I have absolutely no interest in motorbikes at all, so when I needed a bit of a break from my P-47 build that I was doing, I grabbed two kits for a change of subject, a Takom 1/35 Stug lll Ausf G, and this one from Tamiya, ...what a breath of fresh air doing them was! .....and got me out of a bit of a rut I was in. These Tamiya bike kits are brilliant, but I had a couple of issues due to operator error I would say, one of them was attaching the rear view mirrors, ...what an absolute PIA they were, I must have had twenty go's at them before I got them to stick! I also used the Tamiya Fork upgrade set, these are just gorgeous! Anyway, I enjoyed this build, and have learnt some things for my next one... The Panigale decal is missing from this side because I had an accident with the fairing after it was finished, and had to repaint it, and I didnt have another decal to replace it. Thanks for looking, Jeff.
  4. Yes, same here Nils, I like from 75mm - 120mm, most of mine are 90mm, a good working size, but I couldnt resist that 200mm Rosengrant figure... Jeff.
  5. Superb Nils! That is very, very nice indeed, ...excellent work all round, and really nice natural skin tones on the face. I just ordered Pegaso's 200mm Fallschirmjager, which is a bigger scale than what I usually do, but its a John Rosengrant sculpt, and I've always wanted one of his sculpts. Well done! Cheer's, Jeff.
  6. Thanks a lot for the heads up Gordon, but I've already ordered one, I didnt look at U.S. vendors because I had read on a couple of modelling sites that no one was shipping from the U.S. to Australia for a reason I can't remember now, plus the cost of getting anything shipped from the U.S. to Aus is horrendous,......but thanks again! Jeff.
  7. I was thinking someone could take offence to my post, ....nothing wrong with it at all, I used one for years, and still drag it out for some stuff, ...its just that most experienced modellers like Pete would usually being using one of the high end dual action airbrushes, and you could easily tell that hand with the Paasche H was photoshopped in there, ....simple as that.
  8. That's what I was wondering, somehow I dont think Pete would have been using a Paasche H airbrush!..
  9. I remember when you did that one Pete!.....time flies! Jeff.
  10. Thanks again Tony, ordered one from one of those vendors on Scalemates, for not much more than I would have paid here in Aus, ... I wouldn't have even thought to have looked there, ....still, a couple of the sites on that list that show it in stock there, I already searched them and they are out of stock, such as HLJ and BNA Models, so its not entirely up to date. Jeff.
  11. Thanks Tony, I'll have to see how much it'll cost to get down here. Jeff.
  12. Hey all, The Tamiya 1/32 F-16CJ kit, does this kit go in and out of production, or has it been discontinued for who knows how long, like the Thunderbirds kit? I dont really follow when kits come and go, and still thought this one was kicking around, but I've obviously misjudged it completely. Cheer's, Jeff.
  13. Missed this one first time around, that is superb work Rod!...especially coupled with your brilliant photography, realism at its best! Cheer's, Jeff.
  14. Not at all Peter, I've gone the same way, I hardly ever look at my completed builds in my display case these days, its more of the build that does it for me now, once its done, I've got no more interest in it, ....trouble is, I can't be bothered going through the hassle of trying to sell them on ebay or whatever... Jeff.
  15. Looking good Bruce! Very neat and clean work. Jeff.
  16. It could be worse, it could be 1/35 scale!...
  17. Jeez that looks good! Brilliant work. Jeff.
  18. “Not Perfect”….. you say Steve, but looks bloody good to me! Very nice.. Jeff.
  19. Wow, that is outstanding Nick! What a beautiful finish you've achieved there, ...flawless work. Cheer's, Jeff.
  20. Those pics are close up Brian, and it looks pretty good to me from here! Jeff.
  21. Jeez, that is a world of difference construction wise to the Hasegawa G6 I am doing at the moment!.....theres a lot of stuff in there I wont be displaying, but I'll still probably grab one when they're availiable. Jeff.
