In my experience it is rare a model comes out the way you see it in your minds eye.... this one is in SPADES !!

I have been slowly working away at it, adding scratch built and aftermarket details....used Airscales WW I instrument decals.

Hey all, been a long while sense I have been on here but I had to share. I first saw this kit late last year, a chap in Taiwan was just kicking off his business. He mostly makes parts/ extras for kits but he was about to put out this kit and I jumped at it.

It’s like building a miniature version of the real thing. The doped linen may even be doped linen! Hard to tell it’s such a thingof beauty!

About $250 US... if you go for one I suggest you insist he use the additive that is available to make the resin less brittle.. this thing is like thin glass !! Still very happy with it.

He also sells the rigging thread that I'm using.. it is wonderful stuff. Not elastic but certainly looks the part.

That's not too bad. How do we find one?
