joe Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 This is my second model post here but my first 1/32 kit since returning to modelling a few years back. I finished this one back earlier in 2010. Its built OOTB except I did use Yellowhammer decals and some resin seats from Legend Productions. I made a classic mistake - I placed the under wing national insignia upside down and by the time I realised it was too late...LOL... Oh well, such is life! Overall a really nice kit and much easier than the A-7E I posted a few weeks back. This one is for the guys doing the F-4 GB....
Daywalker Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 That sucks about the decal! Been there, done and got the T-shirt LOL. Excellent build, love the finish on your model!
dashotgun Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 Beautiful. I built the same bird and used the yellowhammer as well I really did not care for them as decals. No one will notice the upside down insignia.
ChrisS Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 Wonderful looking F4! The weathering and paint are right on!
LSP_Kevin Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 What a terrific Phantom Joe! I certainly agree with Chris's assessment. Kev
LSP_Ray Posted February 10, 2011 Posted February 10, 2011 Nice job!!! Always good to see another F-4 sporting the Jolly Roger!
Derek B Posted February 24, 2011 Posted February 24, 2011 Very impressive Joe (Nice model, nice weathering) Derek
