But I still think it is one of the uglier planes ever built. I can not imagine how he could of felt being cooped up inside it. I do agree with you about the ugly bit, although after spending many hours looking at photos and the model I became quite fond of its lines and the attention that was paid by Lindbergh and the Ryan company on streamlining every last mm of the airframe.
