mammut08
Hi All, It has been a while since my last post. This stems largely for the struggles I have had getting the fuselage together - the WNW Tripe seems to have been engineered like a puzzle box. Regardless, it is now together and I have begun painting. Finish is exclusively Tamiya. Here are a few photos (the stabilizer is just sitting on the fuselage, so it is a bit askew). Next up: a coat of future and then a series of oil filters and washes to tone down the contrast between the wing fabric and rib tape, as well as impart a brownish hue to the PC10 finish. Everyone keep up the good work, Dave Edited June 2, 2013 by mammut08 whiskytngofxtrt

mammut08
Hi All, As always, I appreciate the compliments, they do keep me moving forward. I am in the field for the next month of so (archaeology professor teaching a field class), so there will be few updates until August - although I hope to work a bit on the tripe this evening. Gregory, the wood grain was achieved using one of the RB Productions wood grain stencils. I love mine! Everyone keep up the good work. mammut08
Hi All, it's looking more and more like summer fun time is over for me, so back to building. Here are a few update photos - wheels, rudder and an airframe overview. I still need to address the engine and prop, otherwise I am currently joining subassemblies. To the rest of you - get back to (and keep up the good) work! Cheers, Dave whiskytngofxtrt
