ssculptor
Whoopee. I just got the 1/32 injection molded kit of the Fokker E.V/D.VIII. Yes the parasol fighter that appeared at the end of WW1. The kit is by Mikr Mir (Ukraine) and is available from the Atlantis Company in New York State. The price is quite low, by my standards, and they can be found at: www.Atlantis-Models.com They used to be a company that reissued old plastic kits, much to my delight. Now they are taking on small manufacturers who are trying to get their lines established. Hooray for Atlantis. seiran01
I think I snagged my 2nd paid D.VIII from Atlantis recently, hooray for them indeed! After the review I did here on LSP I went and bought two more to take full advantage of the Pheon decal sheets that recently came out, it's really hard to pass up on the kit at that price. Got to get off my butt and write the review for Aviattic's new templated lozenge decal sheets for that kit as well! Uncarina and LSP_K2
ringleheim
That Fokker D VIII kit looks very interesting. Nice photo etch for the cooling jackets on the machine guns, seat belts, and sights for the MGs as well... Only $34.95 to boot. http://www.atlantis-models.com/fokkerev-dviii1-32monoplaneatlantis.aspx
