Bomber_County
Mark, missed this when you first started, exquisite build........so want to dive in a another 'stang very soon. One question, your "black" looks great, always have trouble with mine, what do you use and is it sprayed or brushed? Thanks Mark M and Jeff
Mark M
Thanks As for the black The gloss is alclad black primer - brushed or airbrushed both work well The 'matt' is tamiya NATO black xf69???? Again mainly airbrushed but OK brushed Bomber_County

Mark M
well ive got some paint on, ive chosen not to paint the engine covers yet as they will be off anyway for the diorama im planning, ive had a few problems with paint, ok just one really the AK Xtream metal 'polished aluminum' just would not dry at all, i left it for 24hrs, still tacky so i stole the wifes hairdryer, no effect, so i wiped it all off (yes it was that wet) cleaned it up, re primed and repainted with a different batch of the same paint, no problems with that (so ive contacted AK about the doggy batch) as you can see, ive tried to add colour variations to some panels, i think it looks ok? ClumsyDude
Mark, that is an exceptional looking model, can't believe it's had paint wiped off. I like the colour shades. Jim Edited August 6, 2017 by ClumsyDude Mark M
