TimW
After long deliberations, the Trumpeter Hurri IIc it is... I had originally thought to do the Beaufighter, but with the demands I have on my time right now I decided to go with a more "OOB" type experience and this one fills the bill. Plus, nobody seems to be doing a Hurricane yet! I will either do Western Desert or a Far East scheme, depending on how I feel when I have to decide which scheme to go with. Tim W. TimW
Thanks for all the encouraging words! I'll post pix as soon as I have a major sub-assembly completed. Still at the basic painting the cockpit/interior stage--lots of that RAF interior green! Tim W
ruzlkampf
Whoooo, this is going to be good. Love the Hurricane with all those 'can openers" in the wing.
TimW
An early picture of the cockpit (such as I've managed). Still needs a bit of touching up on the seat, but I figured better sooner a picture than later! Tim W.

TimW
Looking good Tim!Might be too soon but do you already have an idea on the sheme? Cheers, Loic Yes. I'm leaning toward something like this: http://wp.scn.ru/en/ww2/f/79/9/9/138 or the same scheme but with dark sea grey instead of the brown. Sources I have indicate that Far Eastern theater a/c arrived with green and grey, but were overpainted with the earth brown. The important thing is thanks to Montex I have what I need to do the small SEAC roundels! Tim W.

TimW
Nice work Tim. That cockpit is looking really good. I especially like the instrument panel. Kev Thanks. It was pretty much OOB apart from gluing some of my homemade data plates onto it. I also drilled out the instrument faces in the panel as I thought they're too thick as molded and I wanted the actual instrument faces to stand out a bit. Next up, the engine... Tim W.
