I bet [and hope] an Albatros D.D, D.II and D.III come along first - just look at the WNW language descibing the decals for the Roden kits in the Richthofen Albatros boxing.

Spot on. Decals for Dr1 now we have one. Decals for Albatros 111 now we want one. Hopefully just a matter of time...

I mean as long as they did/are doing the Camel and Dr.1, why not a SPAD now?  The Roden SPADs are getting harder to find, and as has previously been pointed out, as decent as the kit is, a WnW SPAD would be a large magnitude better.

Absolutely! If the Dr1 will be an upgrade from Roden then WNW SPAD will definitely outshine hobbycraft. Not just kit but referenced instructions acurate decals and nice box art...

That would not surprise me! The SPADs and Hanriot fighters are obvious future releases...

What’s next?

I really don’t know but I’ll have 3 stabs in the dark and 3 wishes. I invite you to do the same.

Not including a SPAD, Dr1 or re-releases (as much as I’d like to)...

Guess...

1. Breguet 14

2. Albatros CIII

3. Sopwith Comic

Wishes...

1. Austrian &/or Italian flying boat

2. German or Italian bomber

3. Blackburn Kangaroo or Vimy

;)

Well how things change-  should have included the Dr1.

I’d now put money on the SPAD and Alb D111. and Hanriot (unless they have some sort of an arrangement with CSM)

Also something Austrian seems like a good bet these days... ;)

You never know. But I think for the next 5-10 years WNW will finish out the WW1 inventory. They might go into 1930s/40s etc after that?

All the WNW re-released in 1/24 scale!

They have already got all the CAD in 1/32 so why not?

I guess they would have to stick to fighters for 1/24. There might be some folks out there who want to see some 1/48 scale as well. But I’m pretty sure somewhere WNW mentioned that they were only interested in 1/32.

I deleted this reply because Roden has a 1/32 SPAD. Thought there might be an opening seeing as Hobbycraft is out of Business.

Actually Roden has only a SPAD XVll. I’d like to see some of the others, like the SPAD Xl, Xll, and Xlll, although the HC Xlll is still available on Evilbay.

There are an awful lot of WWl planes. I’d say at the rate WnWs is going, it’ll take about 30 years.

Especially if they allow the engine louvers to have replacement screens.
