Adding the vac airintake proved very difficult.

The main thing was to get it to blend in with the wingsurface.

At one place I sanded to much on the 1,5 mm balsasheet that I went right trough it.

So had to fix that problem too.

Making the left wing will go smoother I hope, lurning from the mistakes I made doing the right wing.

Hi Erwin,

I'm doing some mental imagery trying to follow your build (non-modelers might call it hallucinating... what do they know...! ). I have an educated guess as to which model it is, and I see some interesting and difficult angles it must entail.

I sanded through some of my styrene. What a pain. Seems like fixing the balsa panels would be a bit more tricky

The left outerwingsection is on the way.

Much easier than the right one.Lurning from the mistakes.

After that it's getting started on the flaps witch will need much drilling. ;)

There's a six-pack in it for the first right guess on the build I'm doing.Oh...to be drunk at my place :)

Jens,that's a six-pack of cola for you I'm afraid.

Hmmm...Let the guess work start...

EE Canberra, Mc Donnell Banshee or Grumman Panther/Tiger spring to mind here?...

Cheers

Derek

Stick to WW-2 ;)

Hmmm...I'll now have to have a re-think Erwin...I think that I shall await some more of your build progress report before I next venture my guess ;)

Cheers

Nice try guys,but...

Wing is now complete excempt for the flaps with I will make later.

Starting on this big fuselage, witch has a large canopy, will be a bigger job than my previous builds.

...Still haven't seen the clincher yet, but it'll come (good fun this Erwin! ;)). It sounds like it's large...the drilled flaps stump me at the moment, but I think that I now understand what the air intakes are...stay tuned.

Cheers

Wing air intakes...

World War II...

Outer wings...

Large canopy...

I'd guess it at being a Gloster Meteor or a Fairey Firefly...

...but then again, my eyesight isn't what it used to be.
