Thunda
One thing you can get aftermarket for the Beau- apart from the hedgehog exhausts- are some resin Hercules engines from Vector. Really nice, but pricy: http://www.neomega-resin.com/bristol-hercules-132nd-scale-872-p.asp Ive always been suprised by the almost complete lack of aftermarket for this kit, given how long its been around and how popular it is. Would have thought at least Eduard would have done some photoetch for the cockpit, or someone would have done an undercarriage/wheel set.
Bill_S
That's some really nice work, Derek - and you're right about the amount of work for the interior! Derek B
petrov27
Once I have completed my current pattern making work, I may consider completing the Beaufighter interior pattern to a very limited degree and pass it on for casting as it - there is far too much work involved in making a fully detailed interior set. After this, I will probably call it a day on pattern making so that I can try and get back to normal model making whilst I am still able too! Cheers Derek I would purchase what you have already done as a resin set - just having the full interior walls with the framing plus the floor would be a huge help with the build of the kit as it is.....
