Pastor John
Hi Guys, thanks to the three of you that have made a pre-payment to confirm you are interested in this conversion, man can not live on bread alone and a project can not go forward on three sales alone. I have taken some pics of a mock up. The keen eyed among you will spot that the lower periscope should be much closer to the gondola, it is short because i need to add 1.5mm to back of resin gondola part and 0.5mm to back of periscope fairing, Also Revell fuselage was dissected 0.5mm too far forward at front end - these jobs are in hand and no problem. The canopy pre-master is polished and i will make a mold of this and the cast as the master on which i scribe the window detail on - ready for a suck in mold. mywifehatesmodels
John, I hope you are plastering this on every forum around the web, because it looks great and I don't think you'll have any problems selling them, once word gets out! Hardcore
Hm, those bombbay doors. I would have thought they were permanently closed or replaced by a fairing.
DeanKB
Just realised I've not sent any money through. I'll rectify that tomorrow.
Pastor John
As the gun-pack is a conversion set that was already in production for the Ju 88 G-6 and before that the G-1 it stands to reason that it has the same doors to get to the ammo bins and gas bottles. Door design taken from photos in G-1 Flugzug Best wishes John
Hardcore
Yeah, that makes sense. I have never seen it though.:-( The men behind the cameras had little idea of what we modelers would need.
Hardcore
Out of curiosity, what would a conversion set(for your conversion) of the snow cone variant cost?
Pastor John
I have covered Morgentern resin and clear nose cap from my G-6 conversion. you would have to blend it in, price would not be too much. It will not feature in the kit as I do not like to do paper projects. PM me if interested in pre-ordering this project mahernandez
dutik
Does it make a difference if I use the A-1 or A-4 kit as a donor? Regards - dutik
Pastor John
Only makes a difference to me - if you use A-1 kit I provide 2x VDM props, if you use A-4 kit I supply 8x VDM props - hence I ask people to let me know when placing order dutik

DeanKB
Surely there are more modellers willing to opt in? A Ju 388. In 1/32. It's an epic piece of modelling. Absolutely epic. And big. And accurate. And fairly rare and unique.
dutik
And even Pastor John is not blessed with the eternal life on Earth. Just saying. So grab you copy as long as available. Don't cry if you missed this like Cammetts Arado E-377 Mistel-5. You have been warned! Regards - dutik
