The main scheme is now a wrap. Lightly sprayed RLM 82 on the tail, with RLM 81 on the rudder. The engine pods are the usual RLM 76 and RLM 81.

Next, it's on to markings and then weathering. Thinking I might be able to have this wrapped in time for ModelFiesta on February 15th...

At the risk of being borring...

I was looking very closely to your work (which I like a lot) and just seen that we can still see the riveting and line panels through the putty work.

I had in mind that this putty was ment to fill those rivets and lines in order to flush the surface... hence we do not see the rivets and panel lines anymore where the putty is applied.

Am I correct in my understanding or does the putty serve an other purpose?

This said, the technic and results are amazing !

Yeah this is a bit of artistic license on my part. I thought about removing them, but 1) that would have made masking nightmarish and 2) I'm lazy.

That is looking very sharp and can't wait to see it sitting on the grass mat.  The NMF should stand out.  You don't see very many modeler's tackle doing a Me-262's done in this late war finish.  You did a outstanding job.

Matt

Simply amazing work and an incredible effect I've never seen modeled.

The mat is going to look perfect and I'm hunting one down myself.

Keep 'em coming

Peter
