smudger
Hi everyone, I've been pretty quiet for a while so thought I'd post some piccies of my latest finished model, the venerable old Revell 1/48 JU-52. This is an awsome kit with a very, very detailed full interior & well engineered construction throughout & a thoroughly enjoyable build from start to finish. I only added Eduard seatbelts & instrument decals...............if you get a chance buy this kit. All markings were masked off & painted on. I entered it into the HeritageCon 2013 model show here in Ontario whee it took 1st place in its class & there were some fantastic looking models entered so I was mightily pleased Anyways hope you like the piccies Thanks for looking & happy modelling. spacewolf
That is an amazing build..no wonder you won ! The markings are very impressive over those corrugations...and the overall faded look of the ship looks like a plane that has spent far too much time in the sun. Brilliant ! Old Dog
Very nice build, easy to see why you won, the paint and weathering looks great. I have one of these in my stash that routinely calls my name !
williamj
You've done justice to one of the best kits ever marketed, for instance, look at the rivets placed between the corrugations in the last two pics. ..strangely we don't see enough of this one built up. Beautiful job.
LSP_Kevin
What a terrific build Martin! Congrats on your well-deserved award. I've always wanted one of these kits, but they're pretty rare these days (and pretty expensive too!). Kev
Old Dog
Kevin, Revell recently rereleased the kit, Sprue Brothers has it in stock for $29.99 https://store.spruebrothers.com/SearchResults.asp?searching=Y&sort=7&search=ju+52&show=100&page=1&brand=Revell

I see older boxings of this kit on eBay here for around $75... Kev
Out2gtcha
Excellent Martin! Not my scale, but that takes nothing away from what a tremendously quality looking build it is...................I agree with the others, your win was VERY justified! Juggernut
Great job! Really looks the part. I bet that corrugated skin was a bugger when painting the camouflage scheme?
