oppenheimer Posted December 1, 2011 Posted December 1, 2011 Well after keep tracking of Brian's work on his SU-30 in this forum, i started my own Russian Mamut, it is progressing slowly, here are some pictures of what a have so far Cockpit is ready the Zactoman air intakes already in place and the internal part painted The vertical stabs are painted already, i tested my skills for the camouflage on them instead of the fuselage Fuselage already glued together and the nose cone lines need to be erased and reescribed again cause they are wrong
LSP_Kevin Posted December 1, 2011 Posted December 1, 2011 Welcome aboard Oppenheimer! Technically your build doesn't qualify for the GB, as it's more than 25% complete, but I'm prepared to turn a blind eye here, as you obviously still have some way to go. Nice work by the way! Kev
Kagemusha Posted December 1, 2011 Posted December 1, 2011 Nice work Mr O, really like the fins, and good blind eye turning Mr Kev
oppenheimer Posted December 1, 2011 Author Posted December 1, 2011 thank you guys for the welcome, and most of all, for the sudden problem in your eyes, jajajajaja, i will be posting pictures regularly, and sorry about my english
oppenheimer Posted December 2, 2011 Author Posted December 2, 2011 The nose gear is done with the hydraulic lines , none of the lines come with the model, the nose gear is to plain with out them, and in this scale we need more details, so the model wont look like a toy
oppenheimer Posted December 2, 2011 Author Posted December 2, 2011 some update, the panel lines in the nose section already reworked original reworked some other work on the nose the real thing

elviper2 Posted January 24, 2013 Posted January 24, 2013 Hello. I'm new here. I speak english not so good so please be gentle. I've got question about decals of Venezuelian Air Force. Are they masked or buy somewhere?
Zero77 Posted January 25, 2013 Posted January 25, 2013 There is a decal sheet from Aztec dedicated to venezuelan F-16. I dont know for flankers.
mgbgtv8steve Posted February 13, 2014 Posted February 13, 2014 Hi Mr O - I know its been a while since this thread was current but there's a lot I'd like to ask ref your Venezuelan Sukhoi build. Before I do I'd just like to ensure you are still around and whether or not you finished the build?? Regards, Steve S.
