LSP_K2
A few more touch-ups, some clear coat, washes, and adding weapons and smaller bits, and I'll be finished. I hope to wrap this up in the next couple of weeks. We'll see I guess.

LSP_K2
Thanks fellas. Base (walnut veneer portion), receives another coat of linseed oil. A few more coats, and the walnut will look great.

That's the first time I've seen that shot of 957, too bad I didn't have it before. The other images I've seen are all the port side, and apparently the paint faded badly over time, my depiction being somewhere between new and retired from service. I believe this air-frame is now a museum piece.

LSP_K2
Main wheel well area all masked off and painted RLM 02, a decent visual match for the actual color.
Guest Peterpools
Kev Wheel wells and the Mig's undersides look real good. Keep 'em coming Peter
LSP_K2
Long overdue (to me anyway), I’ve now wet sanded the bits of crud out of the finish, and gloss coated entire model for washes to follow tomorrow. (The washes should make a big difference, visually speaking.) Trying to follow through on my resolution to finish some already started projects, and this is one of them. LSP_K2
In my opinion, the washes (mostly darkish brown), have had a terrific, though subtle, impact on this bird. I’m a happy guy!
