I don't think your progress being lame, just you taking your time and keep having fun with this one.

I always liked this B-17 kit despite being old and having raised panel lines. But more important, at least to me, these kits have some kind of character. As has the original B-17. A wonderful aircraft.

going well, which is more than i can say for ANY of mine :blush:

 

Just to 'muddy' the waters and supply more information:-

 

'Out House Mouse' was stationed at R.A.F. Bassingbourn with the 323rd B.S.

Thanks for the link. Yep, 909 is one of those airframes that get discussed a lot.

Work now resumes on the Fortress for my friend. I chose to redo the port wing superchargers, as I didn't like the color they were before at all. A little masking and repainting, and I'll be good to go for the next phase.
