1/24th Lancaster scratch job eh?

I'll put the straightjacket in the post!

Cool detailing on the Hurrie!

Phil

I check the post each day, but no straight jacket  so I will just have to keep going. By the way your mossie was outstanding in everyway.

Just a small update,

Slowly going though the electrical equipment as per the picture I posted earlier, made the Transmitter-Receiver TR.1133, I'am in the process of making the junction box, master contactor and power unit. Tonite I will paint the TR 1133 black. These little items take time to build hope they look some what close to the pictures I see. Have not had any dimension to make any of these, just scaling them off the pictures.

I am working on it, just not at a point where there is anything interesting to post. There is a PILE of detail painting to do on this kit. Very tedious.

With regards to the weather, this is how I remember summers here as a kid. We had a great August :speak_cool:

Hi Richard ,

Wow , Museum quality work of art , wonderful build ! Your metal work is it PE or are you doing your own metal works?

Willi

Thanks for your compliment Willi, I did buy the PE from Trumpeter for the Hurri which I have used some, but what you see is my own metal work, went and bought some .001". .002" and .003" brass shim on the weekend which I'am finding better to work with than the .005" i was working with. I will be watching how you do your wiring so I know what to do when that time comes.

Thanks again for looking in.

Regards

Richard

I envy you Canadians - cool weather AND rain. Two things that are but faint and fast-fading memories here in South Central Texas (near San Antonio). We reached 110F about a week ago; I don't know what that is in Centigrade/Celsius but let's just say it was HOT! By the way, Richard, amazing work on you Hurri! Oh to have that kind of patience (and cool, wet weather so I can stay inside and work on my models).

Regards,

Jason

That's about 43 Celsius. Here in Melbourne we might get maybe 5 days per year at 40+, sometimes fewer. Black Saturday back in Feb 2009 saw us get to 47, which is about 117F. Now that was hot.
