Chris McMillin
Yes, it is http://www.sandersaircraft.com/ and seems a little slow and crotchety lately. Lots of great detail shots on some of the restoration selections. There are many shots of Chuck Greenhill's Centaurus powered (most are Wright 3350's now) Fury with drops installed, very cool. Chris Hannover - Germany
Thanks Loic. Here we go with another update. The model is in primer now, the white part of the ID stripes has been painted and already masked to spray the black parts next. I also drilled out two holes on each side, to attach some position lights. The last step before i set the bird in primer was to remove the old canopy rail and replace it by a U-shaped part. As i left of the cockpit, i had to do a canvas to cover up the canopy. I will paint the black stripes next, cover them and start the paintjob. This is a very simple one, but it should be much fun to do it Hope you like it. Cheers, Chris

LSP_Kevin
Good work Chris. How did you make the canvas cover? I'm looking to do something similar with my Emil (just the part the covers the rear of the instrument panel when the cowling is off). Kev
ruzlkampf
Hello Chris!, Outstanding job. I haven't been on this forum for very long, and haven't had the oppurtunity to say hello yet. Very nice model. That is a very convincing canvas, for sure! I also am curious how you did it? Welcome to the Group Build, the more the merrier! DaveJ
Count me in on the canvas how-to question?? I'm guessing wet tissue paper with Mr Surfacer or white glue to hold the shape? Looking really stunning Chris!
